Extra firm medical-grade support without compromising comfort.

For plantar fasciitis pain, severe overpronation, and people who are heavy on their feet, podiatrists recommend insoles with extra firm support. Pace Thin insoles deliver the goods, while also providing a precision arch fit and a deep heel cup that decrease impact, improve stability and balance, and reduce foot pain. With 3mm thick, full-length top covers, you’ll have the perfect fit in low-volume footwear like cycling shoes, soccer cleats, golf shoes and other shoes with thin removable inserts.

Million Mile Guarantee

Tread Labs molded arch supports are unconditionally guaranteed. Forever.

If they ever crack or lose their shape, we’ll send you a new pair, no questions asked. From your first mile to your millionth, your satisfaction is our priority.

Before adding Pace Thin Insoles to your shoes, remove the factory inserts. While adjusting to your insoles, you may feel firm support along your arch, but after a week or so, you’ll probably forget you’re wearing them. Give yourself time to get used to the additional support. You’ll be glad you did.

  • One size does not fit all.

Pants aren't one size fits all. Insoles shouldn't be either. Pace insoles come in four arch heights – low, medium, high, or extra high – so you can get the perfect fit for your feet.

  • Like new, on demand.

Tread Labs insoles are made with a 2-part system: a molded arch support and a replaceable top cover. Easily replace the top cover to make your insoles like new again.

  • Fresher feet with every step.

Pace top covers are resilient, long-lasting, open-cell polyurethane foam topped with 100% recycled polyester fabric that's PURE antimicrobial treated to keep feet feeling fresh all day.

Support That Doesn't Quit

You don’t have time for foot pain. You’ve got too much to do, and your feet standing in the way isn’t an option. Clinical studies show firm support is more effective for treating plantar fasciitis*. The firm, medical-grade support of Pace insoles wins the battle against concrete, pavement and whatever else you throw at them, without the sticker shock of custom orthotics.

No Risk, High Reward

Getting used to firm support can take time. That's why our insoles are covered by a 90-Day Fit Guarantee. Once they arrive, wear them for up to 90 days. Make sure they fit like a glove.

Need a higher or lower arch? Exchange them. Just not your cup of tea? That's okay. Send them back for a refund. We'll even pay return shipping (in the US). It doesn't get less risky than that.

How Firm Do You Like It?

Just like a mattress, insoles come in different levels of firmness. Choose from firm, extra firm, and ultra firm. Picking the one that's perfect for you is easy with our Find Your Fit Tool.

Buying more

I have back issues (one back surgery) and very high arches. I have tried a variety of arch supports over the years with mixed results. About 4 or 5 years ago I ordered 2 pair of the Pace arch supports and loved them so much I ordered 2 more pair a year later and they have allowed me to live a more active life. I came to the Tread Labs site today to order 2 more sets as I have concluded I have 6 pairs of shoes I wear (golf, work, hiking, pickleball, etc.) and I'm tired of changing them out so I will now have a set in all my shoes. Based on my experience so far, I anticipate I will never need to buy another set of inserts, although I may decide to replace the covers in 5 or so years.

I was really hoping that these would be the answer to my tired and aching feet and sore back. But my feet hurt worse and so does my back. Setting up for a return I think. I have use them often on for over three weeks

Hi John,
Thanks for giving us a try - we're sorry that these didn't work out for you. If you need help setting up your return, or if you'd prefer to try a different arch height to see if it helps, drop us a line at We're happy to help.

Good quality!

Jury's still out on whether they will help my feet feel better but they are well made and comfortable. Only gripe I have is that the front part of the insole could use some stiffening as it's otherwise not that easy to just swap between shoes.

Helped with pain

They improved ankle pain and I can use them in most of my shoes.

Pace Insoles

Bought these since there were other good reviews and the inter-changeable liners made these attractive. I bought these to help the tracking of my patella since I have flat fleet. They seem to support well but thinking I need something little more supportive so ill probably try out their Dash insoles for more intense activities.

Hi Ismail,
Thanks so much for giving us a try. The Dash insoles definitely offer more rigid support than the Pace, so if you're looking for that ultra firmness, they're a good option. If you're feeling like the arch you have needs to be a little higher, you may want to try a higher arch in the Pace Thin. Let us know if you need help at
