Extra firm medical-grade support without compromising comfort.

If your feet are extra – extra painful from plantar fasciitis, extra overpronating, or you have an extra heavy gait – extra firm support is exactly what you need. Pace Short insoles combine extra firm precision fit arch support and a deep heel cup to decrease impact, improve stability and balance, and reduce foot pain. The 2/3 length, 3mm thick top covers all plenty of room in tight fitting shoes like ballet flats, dress shoes and other footwear without a removeable insert.

Million Mile Guarantee

Tread Labs molded arch supports are unconditionally guaranteed. Forever.

If they ever crack or lose their shape, we’ll send you a new pair, no questions asked. From your first mile to your millionth, your satisfaction is our priority.

Before adding Pace Short Insoles to your shoes, remove the factory inserts. While adjusting to your insoles, you may feel firm support along your arch, but after a week or so, you’ll probably forget you’re wearing them. Give yourself time to get used to the additional support. You’ll be glad you did.

Support That Doesn't Quit

You don’t have time for foot pain. You’ve got too much to do, and your feet standing in the way isn’t an option. Clinical studies show firm support is more effective for treating plantar fasciitis*. The firm, medical-grade support of Pace insoles wins the battle against concrete, pavement and whatever else you throw at them, without the sticker shock of custom orthotics.

No Risk, High Reward

Getting used to firm support can take time. That's why our insoles are covered by a 90-Day Fit Guarantee. Once they arrive, wear them for up to 90 days. Make sure they fit like a glove.

Need a higher or lower arch? Exchange them. Just not your cup of tea? That's okay. Send them back for a refund. We'll even pay return shipping (in the US). It doesn't get less risky than that.

Finally Some Help For Overpronation

I've struggled with overpronation most of my life, and I've dealt with it by buying sturdy supportive shoes. The only issue for me is that most shoes designed for that kind of stability are really ugly, just point blank. I wanted to have the wealth of options most people do, and I tried other box store insoles but none ever helped. A few months ago I found some shoes I really loved, but they offered no support and didn't have a removable insole. I went down rabbit holes and came across Tread Labs who - thankfully - sold a variety of insoles, including some that helped with overpronation AND could be put in shoes with no removable insoles. They've helped me so much, I hope to get another pair soon.

I've worn custom orthodox for decades, but my last old pair was deemed obsolete by my chiropractor since they were very hard and inflexible. After a severe leg injury that caused my arches collapse from lack of use I've continued to have aching, tired feet since regaining my ability to walk, hike, run, etc. I tried a few pairs of Superfeet insoles, but felt they didn't fill out arch the way my custom orthodox did and my feet still hurt. After trying the Pace insoles, I felt relief on the FIRST DAY of use! I have to say I ignored the arch recommendations which would have put me at medium or low height and went with high. This was due to comparing the difference between my custom orthodox which filled out my feet and the Superfeet insoles which did not. These are a lifesaver!!

Hi Sara. Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear the insoles are working out.

Better than my $500+ "prescription" insoles!

I am so happy with this product!
After having gone to a podiatrist, paying far too much money, suffering for almost a year (thinking maybe I just needed more time to adjust), I finally gave up and tried Tread Labs. I really felt I had nothing to lose, as I had tried everything from drugstore, “professional,” and even “alternative” solutions.
After a bit of experimenting, I now use an extra-high arch on the left foot, and a high arch on the right.
I am almost pain free! (still working on finding the perfect shoes for them!)
My only wish, is that there was a way to try out two sets of arches at a time, (extra high and high, for example) to find that perfect fit, as each foot may have its individual need/quirk!
Other than that, I really am most grateful for this product!
