  • Metatarsal Pads support your metatarsal bones, taking pressure off the balls of your feet. They are a modular add-on that can be easily added (or removed) from any Tread Labs insole.

    Tread Labs insoles are made with a 2-part system. The molded arch supports and replaceable top covers peel apart for easy placement and adjustment of metatarsal pads.

    1. Open cell polyurethane foam shaped for optimum comfort.
    2. Low profile hook and loop attachment system is compatible with all Tread Labs insoles for easy positioning and adjustments.
    3. Small Met Pad thickness is 2mm; Medium is 4mm; Large is 6mm.
  • Position your met pads carefully. Center the pad between the inside and outside edges of your molded arch support. The broader, forward edge should stick out ¼ inch from the plastic arch support. Installed, the pad should be just behind the ball of your foot, not directly under it. More detailed instructions are here. Give your feet time to get used to the new pads. You’ll be glad you did.
  • Everything we sell ships free via USPS. We ship Monday-Friday. Within the US, transit time is 3-5 business days. For shipping to Canada, we offer a discounted shipping rate of $10. Transit time is 5-7 business days. Outside the US and Canada, shipping costs $25 for 1-2 pairs and $40 for 3-5 pairs. All duties, taxes and fees are paid by the customer.

Helping with pain

I purchased the high arch supports and the Metatarsal Support Pads. I have major arthritis problems in my feet that have required multiple surgeries to repair the damage. These two items have been the ONLY thing I have tried that helps with the pain and allows me to walk as normally as possible. Thank you!

World Of Difference

I was originally unsure about the Metatarsal Pads, but my arches had gotten so bad I figured I would give them a shot. I purchased a set to go with a pair of Tread Lab insoles I previously purchased. They took some getting used to (1-2 weeks) but it made a world of difference. Feels as if my arches are now fully supported across the entire length of the arch now. Better spreads the pressure/weight across the balls of my feet. Now I own a pair of Metatarsal Pads for each of the 3 sets of insoles I now own.

Excellent Product for all shoes

I received my first pair of Tread Labs Pace insoles about four months ago. They are the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had everything from drug store to custom inserts for hundreds of dollars. The heal support is perfect and the options for both arch and pad thickness make them perfect for all types of casual and sport footwear. Also, the customer support was excellent.

Metatarsal Pads

Love my arch supports! But I haven't been able to get the pads to work for me. I've positioned them a bunch of different ways, but I haven't been able to find a way to make them comfortable for me. Too bad, because I really need metatarsal arch support. Still love the arch supports overall though!
